Helen Clanin

Helen L. Clanin, age 75, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Kobacker House Hospice. A lifelong resident of Central Ohio and member of St. James Lutheran Church, LCMS. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Viola Callihan; husband of 30 years, Marshall D. Clanin; twin brother, Homer and brother, Harold Callihan; sisters, Florence Griggs and Catherine Black; grandchild, Sarah Elizabeth Gebara and great grandchild, Thomas Tyler Chaffin. Survived by daughters, Loretta (Stanley) Covert, Debbie (Chuck) Holmes and Tammy (Sotero Juan Sr.) Gebara; grandchildren, Sean (Angie) Serafini, David (Julie) Covert, Thomas (Danielle) Chaffin, Joshua (Laura) Chaffin, Jessica (Shane) Hawkins, Abigail and Lillian Holmes, Santiago, Leah, Rachel and Isabel Gebara; many great grandchildren; brother, Floyd (Shirley) Callihan; special caregiver, Diane Miller. Friends may call Monday, February 17, from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 5660 Trabue Rd. Columbus, OH 43228. Interment to follow at St. James Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the St. James Lutheran Memorial Fund in Helen's memory.
