Henry A. Spohn

Henry A. Spohn, age 81, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital with his family by his side. He was born in Indianola, Pennsylvania. He graduated from West Deer Township High School in Cheswick, Pennsylvania. Henry was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force. Henry married the love of his life, Marion, in May, 1957. He graduated from Franklin University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Henry volunteered at the Hilliard Ohio Historical Society and the Central Ohio Arthritis Foundation. Henry’s passion was working on and taking his 1969 Chevelle to car shows. He was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church and the Hilliard Senior Center. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion and his parents Albert and Lillian. He is survived by his children Angel (Dale) Allinder and Amber Spohn; grandchildren Scott Allinder and Allison Allinder; great-granddaughter Adalyn Neff; brother George (Nancy) Spohn; sister Elizabeth Thornton; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00a.m. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2016 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3500 Main Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 with Reverend Elizabeth Buuck, officiating.
