Ida Harvey

Ida Jane “Janie” Harvey, age 80, of Columbus, passed away June 15, 2022.  Member of First Christian Church, Lawton, OK and Faith Alive Church, Peoria, IL.  Janie retired from Marion Christian Schools and Buckeye Valley Schools as an elementary teacher. Janie was a Vacation Bible School Teacher, Local Mothers Club of Delaware founder, T.W.I.G member (a foundation of Children’s hospital) and enjoyed scrapbooking, genealogy and macramé. Preceded in death by parents Russell and Ruth Dana (Andrews) Williams, husband Robert “Bob” Harvey, daughter Suzy Long, brothers Russell A. Williams Jr. and Danny Walter Williams and grandson Brayden Hall. Survived by children Jennifer J. (Kelly R.) Hall, Robert Harvey Jr., son-in-law Bennie S. Long III, and Elizabeth (Michael) Brookover, siblings Ruth Ann Reeder, Tommy J. Williams and Randy A. Williams, grandchildren Bentina (Nick) Marsh, Darrian, Taj and Noah Long, Max and Libby Brookover, Caleb and Jacob Hall, great granddaughter Parker Marsh, numerous loving relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 am, Saturday June 18, 2022 at Christian Life Church, 3180 St. Rt. 37 West, Delaware, OH 43015. Please deliver all flowers to the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Life Church.
