Ivory Bryant

Ivory Bryant, born in Odd, West Virginia on February 4, 1910 passed away Friday, May 29, 2009. Preceded in death by parents Byrd Hall and Alamity Wood, husband Basil, daughter Betty, sons Kenneth and Harold E. Bryant and granddaughters Gail (Bryant) Reaper and Judy (Bryant) Akins and son-in-law Henry Miller. Resided at First Community Village for the past 5 years. She and her husband resided at Jenkins Terrace, 1100 E. Broad St. for many years; where she enjoyed many of the activities and helped prepare and serve the large holiday dinners for all who lived there. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping, and eating out. She also loved reading her bible and was a member of Canaan Land Church. Survived by daughters-in-law Imojean Bryant, Irene Bryant, daughter Juanita Miller, grandchildren David (Debbie) Bryant, Doug (Gail) Bryant, Michael (Melinda) Bryant, Jerry Bryant, Sharandia Evans, Larry (Sally) Bryant, Gary (Mary) Bryant, Sandra Russell, Dianne Harris, Tammy (Greg) Harrison and Rick Miller, many great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 1 pm Monday with Pastor Mike Blanton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice, 108 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43214. Entombment Green Lawn Cemetery.
