J "Squirrel" Dentner

J “Squirrel” Dentner, age 69, of Columbus, OH, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at Grant Medical Center. Born in Columbus to the late Keith and Melva Dentner, he was a graduate of Whitehall-Yearling High School, Class of 1967. J was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Always a jokester, he loved to make people laugh. In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his brother Greg Dentner. J leaves behind many family members and friends who will miss him. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00p.m. MONDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2017 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where friends may call one hour before the service beginning at 1:00p.m. Danny Vanscoy will officiate the service. Following J’s wishes, his cremated remains will be buried at sea in the Pacific Ocean by the United States Navy.
