J. Clifford Holt

J. Clifford Holt, age 66, of Hilliard, Ohio, peacefully went to sleep and the Lord took him Home on Palm Sunday, April 9, 2017. A graduate of Triad High School, Cliff earned his B.A degree from Columbus State University. He drove semi-trucks for CR England and drove a mail route for People’s Cartage. Cliff and his family lived in Adrian from 1970-1988 before moving to Central Ohio. Cliff was well-liked by all of his co-workers and everyone he met. Cliff attended Hilliard Church of the Nazarene. He was a Christian who was very serious about his faith. He is very happy now. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Owen Holt, his brother William Holt and his nephew Teddy Jordan. He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 47 years, Linda Holt; his children: Tim (Julie) Holt of Dublin, OH, Misty (Melvin) Eicher of Rochester, MN and Naomi Holt of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren: Becca and Briana Holt and Kaden and Audrey Eicher; mother-in-law Louise Jones of Hilliard; brothers and sisters: Phoebe Holt, Kathy Vice, Richard Holt, Sharon Holt and Frank Holt and their families; life-long special friends Alvin and Peggy Birt of Marysville, OH; the extended Holt and Buchanan Families; and many friends. Family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00p.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 13, 2017 at the HILLIARD CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE, 3669 Leap Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026 where Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 7:00p.m. THURSDAY with Pastors Malcolm Schoener and Kevin Meyers, officiating.
