J. Kevin Robinson

J. Kevin Robinson, age 52, of Hilliard, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 25, 2019. He was a loving father, husband, son, brother and friend who would help anyone in need and always tried to welcome family and friends into his home. Kevin Robinson was born in Columbus, OH on June 9, 1966 to James D. Robinson and Brenda L. (Sheets) Robinson. Kevin’s childhood began in Pataskala, OH where he was loved and raised by Art and Betty Jacobs of Reynoldsburg, OH. Kevin graduated from Watkins High School, Class of 1984 where he loved and participated in swimming, football and band. He enlisted in the US Navy and later attended DeVry University. He enjoyed family events, reading, fishing, traveling, walking his dogs and camping. He spent the majority of his career in HVAC. He loved the Lord, his country and his family with all of his heart. Kevin is survived by his former wife Cheryl Robinson, daughter Jaimee Robinson, son Brandon (Christina) Adkins, granddaughter Leah Grace Adkins, parents Art and Betty Jacobs, sisters Ricci (Robinson) Wilson and Kandi Robinson, nieces Kaycie Journey and Penelope Wilson, nephews Killian Robinson and Braden Lindsey, great-nephew Jamie Journey, mother-in-law Juanita Sanders, as well as family in-laws and close family friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents James Robinson and Brenda (Sheets) Robinson, grandparents Joseph and Glenna Sheets, uncle Mel Robinson, nephew Kyle Journey and great-niece Hayden Journey. Family and friends will gather at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 from 3:00-5:00p.m. SATURDAY, MARCH 2, 2019 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 5:00p.m. SATURDAY with Pastor Ken Harrell, officiating.
