J. Wayne Miller

J. Wayne Miller, age 83, of Hilliard, died at his residence on April 29, 2010. He was born on July 12, 1926 in McConnelsville, Ohio to the late James Oran Miller and Inis Marie (Lawrence) Miller. He was preceded in death by his brother Edsel Dee Miller and first wife Helen Jean miller. He served in the Navy in WWII aboard the USS Cabot. He worked for over 35 years as an auto mechanic then as a janitor in the Hilliard School System. For the past 7 years, he worked as a security guard at Roxane Laboritories. He is survived by his loving wife Rita Miller, daughters Deborah (Paul Jr.) Knotts, Jane (Stephen) Driskell and Elizabeth Snider., his step children, Sandy Beyer, Linda Poff (Bob Sayre) and Chris Poff, sisters Esther Irwin, Betty Jo (Bob) Stuckey, brother Donald Eugene (Bobby) Miller, grand children, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of good friends. Family will receive friends 12-1 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where memorial service will follow at 1 pm Monday.
