Jacalyn K. Wellman, age 68, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, October 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 26, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to James and Audrey Kitchen.
She was a graduate of Hilliard High School. Known to her family and friends by “Jackie”, she loved baking and cooking, especially holiday meals for family gatherings. Jackie was always up for a trip to play Bingo and never passed up an opportunity to go to the casino for slots. She loved going to North Carolina for summer beach vacations. If it was a beautiful spring day you could find her enjoying garage sales, which gave her the opportunity to not only find a good deal but talk to people where she would make an instant friend. Jackie’s real passion was her children and grandchildren, as a stay at home mother she devoted her time to all their activities. She was extremely loyal and had the most serving heart to help anyone in need.
Jackie was preceded by her father James M. Kitchen, mother Audrey J. Kitchen and brother Kevin Alan Kitchen. Jackie is survived by her daughters: Michele Wellman, Ursula Warnick(Brad); her grandchildren: Jordan Young, Brendin Warnick, Jaden Young and Cameron Warnick; her siblings: James Kitchen (Connie), Deborah Ross (Dale), Dwayne Kitchen and Karen Weber; loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, wonderful neighbors and friends.
A private graveside service for family and close friends will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11 a.m at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of a contribution to Patches of Light. Www.patchesoflight.org
