Jack Adkins

Jack Adkins, age 88, of Hilliard, passed away December 28, 2013. Born and raised in West Virginia. He was a Train Master for C&O Railroad Company for many years. He then moved to Hilliard, OH; where he worked in Real estate and was self-employed. Preceded in death by beloved wife Janet “Ruth” Adkins, parents Roy and Bertie Adkins and brother Roy Adkins, Jr. Survived by children Cheri Lin Roy, Mari Lin (Nelson) Coffee and Donna (Mark) Hall, step-son Bob (Debbie) Osburn, brother Edwin P. Adkins, grandchildren Ashleigh, Ethan, Jack, Mason, Gina, Mandy, Becky and Savanna, several great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of good friends. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. A graveside service will be held 1 pm Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Huntington, WV; with visitation 1 hour prior to the time of service.
