Jack Lee Bowshier Sr., of Columbus, Age 78, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He is a proud U.S. Army Veteran. He loved to garden, take rides, and watch his grandchildren at sporting events. He's a devoted Dallas Cowboys and OSU Buckeyes fan. Preceded in death by parents, Willis and Geneva Bowshier; brother, Buck; sisters, Ann and Donna; numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by children, Jack (Brenda) Bowshier Jr., John (Carla) Bowshier, and Jackie (Jim) McDowell; grandchildren, Candace, Jacob, Kayla, Colton, Savanna, Nevada, and Caiden; 4 great grandchildren; brother Gary (Maria) Bowshier; sister, Ellen Francis; special canine companion, Nugget; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Friends may call Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 1 until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH. Pastor George Cook officiating. Military Honors and Interment will be Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Rd. in Rittman, OH.
