James Haines

James Haines, age 86, of Hilliard, passed away Thursday August 6, 2009 at The Carriage Court. He served in the Marines during WWII and Korea receiving several medals and awards. He worked for the Ohio State Highway Patrol and retired from the Department of Transportation. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge. He is preceded in death by sister, Tessa Mae Blank. He is survived by loving wife, Jeanne Haines; children, Sandra Jeanne Minton, Michael J. Haines, and Lynne Marie Haines; sister; Janet Donegan; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held August 11, 2009 at The Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, OH.
