James Powell

James L. Powell, age 72, of Canal Winchester, passed away January 30, 2013. Attended church at Turn Point and employed at Buckeye Steel where he retired in 1982. Preceded in death by wife Helen, sisters Rosie Brewer, Leora Cunningham and Virginia Powell, brother Kenneth Powell and parents Forest and Fannie Powell. Survived by daughter Elizabeth (Bill) Mossburg, son Billy Powell, siblings Wamon (Betty) Powell, Carl (Oneta) Powell, Evelyn (John) Jett and John Everett Powell, grandchildren Amber, Amanda, Amy and Josh Mossburg, great grandchildren Lorelai, Asia, Zoe and Parker James, numerous loving relatives and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday at The Church Triumphant, 1001 Vera Place, Columbus, OH 43204. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
