James Sayre

James L. Sayre, age 61, of Hilliard, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014. He was a member of 121 ARG Ohio Air National Guard for 40 years. A farmer in Brown Township from 1992 till present time as a partner with his brother Chris. Past commander VFW Post #7005 in West Jefferson, Ohio and a Hilliard High School graduate class of 1970. Survived by loving wife of 42 years Karen, son Benji (Molly) Sayre, grandchildren Clark and Annie Kate, parents Ben and Dorothy Sayre, brothers Rick (Kelly) Sayre, Chris (Teri) Sayre and Scott Sayre, sisters-in-law Anna (Ed) Hart, Susan Beougher and Jeannee (Dick) Harris, brother-in-law Robert (Judy) Holdren, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Jim will be sadly missed by his loving wife, family and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Monday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Oh 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Tuesday with Danny Vanscoy officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
