James Skaggs

James Furl Skaggs, age 85, of Dublin, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010. Retired from White Westinghouse after 32 & ½ years; member of Hayden Baptist Church; and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by parents, Louisa and Isaac Skaggs and brother Ford Skaggs. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Peggy Skaggs; children, Deborah (John) McKinzie and Donald (Connie) Skaggs; granddaughter, Shannon Skaggs; brothers, Foster (Willadean) Skaggs, Luther (Clotine) Skaggs, and Herman (Phyllis) Skaggs; sisters, Ivory Wallin and Esta Kelley; along with many nieces nephews, loving relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026. A funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday at THE HAYDEN BAPTIST CHURCH 6729 Hayden Run Rd. Hilliard, Oh 43026 with Pastor Bill Webb officiating. Interment Jerome Cemetery.
