James Stacey

James Edwin Stacey, age 63, of Galloway, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. Member of Shinning Light Baptist Church of Hilliard and was the adult Sunday School teacher and Bible study teacher. Retired from the U.S. Navy with 23 years service. James was a clown “Co Coa” who enjoyed putting smiles on people’s faces around Columbus. Preceded in death by parents Mary and Bill Stacey and Alyce and Sherman Wagner and 1 brother. Survived by loving wife of 40 years, Kathy, children Bill (Robin) Stacey of TN and Melanie (Jason) Ross of Hilliard, grandchildren Billie-Marie and Izabo “Bo” Ross, chosen brother James “Dennis” Edmonds, 1 brother and numerous loving relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held 10 am Friday at TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation, 25225 City Gate Dr. #E, Columbus, Oh 43219.
