James Stoeppel Jr.

James L. “Jim Bob” Stoeppel, Jr., age 64, of Columbus, Ohio, was called Home on Saturday, May 8, 2021.  Born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James and Virginia Stoeppel, Jim was a graduate of Blanchester High School, Class of 1975.  Jim was a Mold Tech Engineer for 33+ years with Core Molding Tech before he retired in 2019.  He was a loving husband and father, an active grandfather, an avid fisherman and a dedicated Forza player.  An animal lover, Jim rescued many dogs and cats.  In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his daughter Tiffany Stoeppel and his niece Trisha Brown.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years Terry Stoeppel, his sons Jim Stoeppel and Jeremy (Heather) Stoeppel, grandchildren Ethan, Christopher, Cameron, Tyler and Brandon, his siblings Janet (Mel) Stein, Joey (Mary Terry) Stoeppel and Jennie (Dale) Attinger, his mother-in-law Connie Griffith, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Debbie Cantwell, Cindy Aracri, Rebecca Haelterman and Joe (Patty) Frey, and their families.  Jim is also survived by his many friends and his loyal pets Luther, Izzy, Alfie, Annie and Ella.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the Columbus Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Court, Hilliard, OH 43026 or on-line www.columbushumane.org.  Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. FRIDAY, MAY 14, 2021 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. FRIDAY.  Burial will follow at Galloway Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.  Please share your favorite memories of Jim on this webpage or send your condolences to his family: www.tiddfuneralservice.com.  Please note that due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Social Distancing will be observed and Facial Coverings are required at the Funeral Home and at the Cemetery.</p
