Jan Wade Freshley

Jan Wade Freshley of Hilliard, OH, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2017. Jan was born in Homeworth, OH, to the late Atlee and Violet Freshley. He was a graduate of the University of Mount Union and was proud to have been inducted into their Hall of Fame for baseball. Jan was an avid sports fan who never gave up on his Ohio teams. He had an infectious personality, loved to laugh and brought humor and joy to all who knew him. Most of all he was a devoted husband and father. Jan will be greatly missed by his loving wife Tammie, sons Michael and Matt, mother-in-law Lillian Keim, siblings Eleanor Carver, Elaine Wagner and Joe Freshley, his Uncle Dwight and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and John Freshley. A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-4:00p.m. on SATURDAY, MARCH 3, 2018 at the GRIGGS BOATHOUSE, 3033 Thoburn Road, Columbus, OH 43221.  Dress is casual, feel free to wear Jan's favorite color (purple) or your favorite team colors.
