Jane Olcott

Jane Olcott, a resident of Aiken, SC for over 60 years, passed away December 2, 2015 in Dublin, Ohio. She was born November 3, 1926 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Russell and Georgianna (Gay) Norton. Shortly after her marriage to Robert Olcott in 1948, they moved to Aiken where he was a long time employee at Savannah River Plant as well as active in the Aiken Soaring Club. Robert passed away November 18, 2012. Both were active members in the Grace Brethren Church. Jane was an accomplished seamstress who loved to create beautiful, unique clothing and gifts. She also enjoyed genealogy and had an amazing memory for family and friends details which she documented through pictures and stories. Surviving Jane are her two daughters, Julie Gibson of Columbia, SC and Laura (James) Poole of Dublin, OH; and one grandson, Christopher (Maegan Scarlett) Poole of Palmdale, California.
