Janet L. Becker

Janet L. Becker, 67, passed away December 23, 2020. Janet was born October 31, 1953 to Marjorie and Carl Borri. For almost her entire life, she resided in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of Upper Arlington High School, Janet earned a BS and MS in Allied Health Management from The Ohio State University. For over thirty-five years, she worked in the quality improvement and health care management department at Riverside Methodist Hospital coordinating numerous physician review committees. Janet was active on the house board of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority on the Ohio State campus. In addition, she was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, serving as an elder, nominating committee member and a voice in the church chancel choir. Janet was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, James; three children Eric, Kyle (Nicole) and Kristen; one grandchild, Evelyn Borri Becker; her sister, Ann Zaleha (John) and numerous aunts and cousins. The family extends a special thanks to Barbara Thorniley, Brigitte Trotier and Lauren Zavodny. A memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church following resolution of the COVID crisis.
