Janet Clark

It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Kathryn Clark announces her passing after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, November 18, 2018.  Janet was born December 28, 1952 to Charles (Bob) and Eleanor Herron. 

Janet will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 29 years, Kevin and her children, David and Jenna Shultz, Scot and Stephanie Shultz, and Jason and Jackie Shultz.  Janet will also be sadly missed by her loving grandchildren Kyle, David, Sean, Dylan, Derek, Connor, Ryan, Drake, Grace, Justin, Evelyn, and Kevin.  To Janet, family was very important and she will forever be remembered by her sisters and best friends Debby Herron, Cathy Herron, and Cindy (Wayne) Sinsley and by her many nieces and nephews.  

Janet was a longtime resident of East Liverpool, Ohio, before relocating to Hilliard and then Marysville, Ohio.  She worked for many years in the banking industry, and was owner and operator of a highly regarded financial services company.  She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and had a strong faith in the Lord.  Her family takes comfort in knowing Jesus welcomed her home in loving arms.

Janet touched countless lives in her personal and professional life.  She was well known for her sense of humor, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness.  In her spare time, Janet enjoyed sewing and quilting and spent countless hours making things for her family.  She also loved to cook and bake and was most happy when hosting large family gatherings. 

Family will receive friends to honor Janet’s memory on Saturday, November 24^th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Maranatha Baptist Church on 4663 Trabue Road in Columbus, OH; where a funeral service will follow at 1:00pm.  Interment will be at the Oakdale Cemetery in Marysville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kenoyer Foundation.
