Janice Lee James

Janice Lee James, 67, of Hilliard, Ohio, formerly of Worthington, Ohio, passed away Oct. 7, 2021, at Mayfair Village Nursing Care Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 21, 1953, in Columbus. Janice was a 1972 graduate of Worthington High School, and earned an associate’s degree from Columbus Technical Institute in 1980. She was a devoted member of the Hilliard Church of Christ and loved the Ohio State football Buckeyes. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty James. Survived by brothers Craig (Barbara) James and Jeffrey James, sister Kimberly (Gary) Theil, nephews Nate (Schauna) James and J.R. (Lisa) James, niece Tiffany James, great-nephews Jackson James, Riley James, Tyler and Thor Martin, uncle Bill Fulwider, aunts Pat Fulwider and Barbara Starkey, several cousins - including special cousins Mark (Lori) Barbee, Karen (Frank) Juodvalkis, Vicki and Gary Ryan – step-niece Lauren (Rob) Kuhn, step-dog Charley, and many good friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Road, Hilliard, OH 43026 at 11:00 a.m., MONDAY, OCTOBER 18,2021 with Senior Minister Jeremy Klein and Fairfield Christian Church Discipleship Pastor Mark Barbee officiating. Family members will receive guests one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00a.m. Arrangements by TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hilliard, OH. Interment at Union Cemetery immediately afterward.
