Janice Sonnenberg

Janice Juanita Sonnenberg, Born October 10, 1934, on the family farm in Delaware County.  Died December 15, 2020.  Daughter of Juanita Conroy Fry Evans, granddaughter of Nelson and Edyth (Crawford) Conroy.  Preceded in death by her husband Eugene R Sonnenberg and younger brother Robert Donald Evans.  Survived by son Scott Sonnenberg, dear daughter by marriage Jennifer, grandsons Michael and Patrick, brother Claude Fry, much loved sister-in-law Joyce, and nieces Claudette Fry, Juliette Oberle, Lynette Fry, Cheryl (Nagle) Hendrix, and Jan (Nagle) Crawford.

Graduate of last High School Class in Bellpoint School, National Honor Society, and attended Bliss Business College.  Retired from U.S. Small Business Administration. Previously worked at Clintonville Lumber (Doddington), Columbus Terminal Warehouse and Central Ohio Warehouse. Represented SBA on the Women Business Owner’s Conferences held by the Ohio State University, Office of Continuing Education and on The Ohio Enterprise Development Interagency Task Force for Persons with Developmental and Other Severe Disabilities which culminated in the B.E.S.T. conference in 1990.

Member of Columbus SCORE Chapter27, NARFE Chapter 235, The Gypsies Travel Club and the Hilliard Senior Center.  Charter member of Clintonville Arts Guild and Baseball Boosters of Central Ohio.  Volunteer in the Park of Roses and with Friends in Action.

Enjoyed CATCO, LTOB, OSU Theatre, Early Music in Columbus, Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Ballet Met, and Clippers Baseball.

Private family services will be held. Interment Jerome Cemetery.
