Jean R. Rardin

Jean H. (Riddle) Rardin, age 90, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Born in New Richmond, Ohio to the late Otto and Cordelia Riddle, Jean was also preceded in death by her sisters Margaret Riddle, Ethel Mae Schaub and Edna Ruth Gosney. As a teenager during WWII, Jean welded bombs in Covington, KY for the war effort. A Licensed Practical Nurse, she was a faithful member of Linworth Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the choir. Jean is survived by her daughter Billie Jean Rardin of Columbus, son Donn R. Rardin of Sarasota, Florida, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, two God grandsons, her sister Harriet Smith of Lebanon, Ohio, and her three adored kitties. Family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00p.m. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2017 at LINWORTH BAPTIST CHURCH, 6200 Linworth Road, Worthington, OH 43085 where her Funeral Service will follow at 3:00p.m. WEDNESDAY. Pastors George Hattenfield and Brent Miller will officiate the service. Burial will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday at Grand View Cemetery in California, KY.
