Jeanetta Eloise Cowen

Jeanetta Eloise Cowen, age 72, of Hilliard Ohio departed peacefully, Thursday March 3, 2011. Born May 24th, 1938 in Wellford, West Virginia. Worked at Sirloin Restaurant and Retired from Kroger and a member of the Leroy Jenkins Evangelistic Association. Jeanetta was best known for her generosity and compassion for others. Her greatest love was the love she had for her children.Preceded in death by loving husband of 38 years, Alan E. Cowen (September 22, 2010) and parents Lawrence and Netta Smith, Brothers Earnest Ray Smith, Garol Smith, and Sister Bernice Nichols. Survived by Daughters, Vicky (Philip) Ruiz; Debra (Donald) Eberhard, and son James Marty (Jan) Basham. Grandchildren Jamilyn (Mark) expecting 1st great grandchild, Justin, Jack, Jenetta, Philip. Step-daughters, Jacqueline (Ralph) Torres, Angela (Steve) Jackson, grandchildren, Shay (Tim), Travis (Christin), Brian (Alexandra), great-grandchildren, Xian, Tala, Macie, Elizabeth, Samuel, David, Joash. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday at The Grove City Nazarene Church, 4770 Hoover Rd., Grove City, OH 43123; where family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the time of service.
