Jeffrey A. Sauls, age 54, of Hilliard, passed away on January 26, 2010 after a courageous battle with a lengthy, painful illness to a life of sunshine and laughter; which he so deserves. He was a self-taught guitarist who was also in the process of learning to play the keyboard. He loved everything and anything to do with music and he had an unbelievable talent of retaining details of trivia about musicians, songs and the stories behind them. Prior to his illness he loved playing softball and golf. Jeff was a huge fan of the Michigan Wolverines and the Chicago Bears, as well as the Cleveland Indians. He was born on November 6, 1955 to Dorothy and Harry Sauls who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Brenda, his son, whom he was always so proud of, Shaun (Sara) Sauls and grandson Blaze Steele all of Spokane Washington, sister Sherry (Lou) Gerber and family, brother Harry (Deb) Sauls and family, as well as aunts and many cousins, He is also survived by the following friends who helped to make his days more pleasant and tolerable, Russ Corporan, Jackie Wellman, Rose and John Fitzpatrick and Dick and Debbie Smith. Thanks to all of you for bringing a smile to his face and laughter in his voice. Respecting Jeff’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Those who wish may contribute to the Capital Area Humane Society in honor of his constant companions, Joe and Peanut.
