Jeffrey Spradlin

Jeffrey S. Spradlin, age 51 of London, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 8, 2013.
Jeff was a teacher at Madison Plains for nearly 28 years. He coached for more than 20 years, this would have been his eighth year leading the high school’s varsity team.
Jeff was an inspiration to his family, his students, athletes and the community. He was loved deeply and will be missed by all those lives he touched with his selfless service to others.
Preceded in death by his Mother, Shirley Howard Spradlin; his maternal grandparents, Harold Howard and Eunice Freer Howard; his paternal grandparents, Thurman and Bessie Spradlin and several aunts and uncles.
Survived by his Father Robert Spradlin and wife Joyce Arledge Spradlin; sisters, Melinda Smith, Amanda (Michael) Pack, and Jennifer (Thomas) Hall, Brenda (James) Arledge. Jeff also had a nephew, Michael Pack; niece, Aurora Lily Pack and a god-daughter, Hayley McConkey.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the MADISON PLAINS HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 at which time a Celebration of Life Service will begin.
Rev. Danny Dodds officiating. In keeping with the wishes of Coach Spradlin, cremation will follow.
