Jerome “Jerry” Patrick Power, age 64, of Plain City, passed away on November 26,
2022. He was born on December 1, 1957, to the late Paul and Florence (Fitzer)
Power.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike and Larry Power;
sister, Nancy Kneen; grandson, Mason Jordan; and his furry friend, Tank.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jeana (Hackworth) Power; children,
Mia (Adam) Long, Kendra (Russell) Jordan and Sommer Howland; grandchildren,
McKinzee (Alex) Long, Madison (Kay) Long, Michael (Chloe) Jordan, Matthew
Jordan, Jordan Howland, Rylee Moody and Hunter Moody; great-grandchildren,
Lidia Jordan, Noah Weldon and a great-grandson on the way; as well as many
nieces, nephews and friends.
Jerry proudly served our Country in the United States Navy. He spent 27 years of
his working life at the Columbus Airport.
He loved talking, always making friends out of strangers. He enjoyed fishing,
buying lottery tickets, playing yukor and working on his cars. He attended many
car shows and cherished his time spent with family. He loved to tease them about
many things and could make anybody laugh. He had a special bond with his dog,
Sunny, and was known for being a hard-working man.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 2-4 p.m., at
Tidd Funeral Home PC, 9720 OH-161, Plain City, Ohio, where a funeral service will
begin at 4 p.m.
