Jerri Hodge

Jerri (Thompson) Hodge, born April 14, 1927, in Columbus, Ohio and died January 29, 2025. Preceded in death by her husband George K. Hodge, mother and father Ruth and John Thompson of Columbus, Ohio. Survived by two daughters, Susan Epperley of La Marque, Texas, Karen Darby (Ron) of Hilliard. Four grandchildren, Lauren Sowers (Michael) of Hilliard, John Hobstetter of La Marque, Texas, Josh Darby of Hilliard, and Heather Worthington-Aguilar (Cris Aguilar) of Houston, Texas and great grandchildren Ava Sowers, Quinn Sowers, Julia Worthington, Shane Davis and Gia Aguilar. Jerri graduated from West High School in Columbus, Ohio. She went on to receive a degree in business administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She helped her husband, George, built two homes and worked as an architectural drafter. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed golfing, tennis and many other sports. She won many awards for running in races. She enjoyed being with family. Visitation & Funeral Service will be at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio, 43026, on Friday, February 7, 2025, with the visitation beginning at 12:00pm and ending at 1:00pm for the funeral service to immediately follow at 1:00pm. Afterwards burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
