Jerry Cornell

Jerry William Cornell “JJ”, age 42, of Hilliard, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015. Member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church. Graduate of Highland High School Class of 1990, graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering and received his MBA from Franklin University. Employed with AEP. Jerry’s faith was unwavering and he cherished the time he spent with family and friends. He was an avid volunteer with the Red Cross, devoted Cowboys fan and enjoyed running marathons. Preceded in death by grandfather Robert Thompson. Survived by loving wife of 17 years Michelle, children Victoria (Matt Riordan) Cornell, Makayla Cornell and Alexandra Cornell, mother Pamela Thomas, father Jerry Keaton, father-in-law James (Rebecca Archer) Medvec, mother-in-law Patricia Medvec, siblings Pamela (Tom) Keller and Robert (Pam) Cornell, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Shawn (Stephanie) Null, nephews and nieces Nathan, Aaron, Michael, Brianna, Austin, Nathan and Kendra, best friends Mark (Rachael) Stooksbury and Sanjay (Shadi) Menon, and many loving relatives, friends and special companions Socks and Jackson. Family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8 pm at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 with a vigil service at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am FRIDAY at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026.
