Jerry D. Smith, Jr., age 27, of Hilliard, OH, died tragically in an automobile accident on November 30, 2020. Jerry attended Hilliard Darby High School. He worked for many years with Mutter’s Lawn Service and most recently with UPS, Hilliard. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Doris Ackerman, Robert H. Smith and Charles and Betty Long, and his uncle Samuel W. Smith. Jerry is survived by his loving parents Erin and Jerry D. Smith, Sr., his sister Maggie Smith, grandfather John Ackerman, aunts and uncles: Renee Corna, Patty Smith, Pamela (Roger) Wardlow, Fred (Kathy) Long, Debra (Richard) Marks and Angela Jimison, and many other loving relatives and friends, including his pet companion, Brody. Family will receive friends from 5:00-6:00p.m. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2020 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where his Memorial Service will follow the visitation and begin at 6:00p.m. THURSDAY. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Social Distancing will be observed and guests are required to wear a Facial Covering while at the Funeral Home.
