Jerry Wholaver, Sr.

Jerry Wholaver Sr., age 78, of Columbus, passed away July 17, 2012. Veteran of the US Army; where he served in the Korean conflict. Member of VFW Honor Guard #3424 and a very passionate Buckeye fan. Preceded in death by first wife of 44 years Betty Wholaver, brothers Bill, Ralph and Bob, sisters Betty, June, Katherine and May, parents Ralph Dunkle and Grace Castle Wholaver. Survived by loving wife of 7 years Gloria, children Jerry Wholaver, Jr., Jim (Sharon) Wholaver, Sherri (Mike) Conley, Mike Wholaver and David (DeeDee) Wholaver, brothers Dick (Bonnie) Wholaver and Ronnie (Nina) Wholaver, 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, life time best friend Eddie (Hazel) Davis, Sr., numerous nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 9-10 am Saturday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 10 am. Interment Forest Grove Cemetery.
