Jessiebell White

Jessiebell Malissa White, 85, of Hilliard, OH passed away on July 19, 2015 after a short illness. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana, on April 7, 1930 to the late Floyd Virgil Kern Sr. and Jessie Bell Kern. She graduated from Elkhart High School in 1949. A year later, on July 2, 1950 she married her husband of 65 years, Clifford Earl White Jr. who survives her. She was very involved in the Elkhart Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Two sons survive Jessiebell, Terry M. White and his wife LouAnn of Columbus, Ohio and Timothy M. White of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, three grandchildren, Ashley L. White, Brandon M. White and Tara L. Keene, and two great grandchildren also survive her. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy A. White, and by two brothers, Floyd Kern Jr. and Jess (Jack) Kern, and one sister, Thirza Van Tilburg. A private family celebration of life service will be held. Inurnment Dayton National Cemetery.
