Jewell L Liff

Jewell L. Liff, age 80 of Mt. Sterling died Monday, April 5, 2010 in Riverside Methodist Hospital (ER), Columbus. She was born Aug. 31, 1929 in Springfield, OH. The daughter of the late William and Marjorie Myers Wilson.
Preceded in death by husband George; daughter Sandra; brother William Wilson; sister Jenny Baker.
Survived by her loving children, Dianna (Phil) Doggett, Gary (Susie) Liff, both of Mt. Sterling, Sonny (Kathy) Liff of London; 9 grandchildren Scott, Julyn, Amy, Angela, Arica, Brian, Christy, Tiffany, and Tara; 22 great grandchildren; sister Shirley Thacker of Orient; long time friend, Freda Stires.
Jewell was a member of Waterloo Church of Christ and Christian Union. She lived for the Lord and she loved singing His hymns of praise.
A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the burial following in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 2 – 5 p.m.
