Jill Chick

Jill D. Chick, age 57, of Delaware, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. Jill was born December 18, 1963 in Gallipolis, Ohio. She was a graduate of Hilliard Darby High School. Jill was preceded in death by her parents Thomas Don and Mary Virginia Chick and her sister Robin Renae Mayer. Jill is survived by her sisters Annette (Lester) Thompson and Beth (Ron) Williams, brother Danny (Nonie) Chick, brother-in-law Andy Mayer, former spouse Gary Francis, best friend Scott Baxter, many other nieces, nephews and her little dog Waylen, who was always by her side. Jill worked as an officer manager at C-P Medical and also at Redstone Group. She enjoyed baking, gardening and relaxing around the pool. Jill’s smile and bubbly personality always lit up the room when having fun with her friends and family. Many enjoyed the hand made cards she sent to loved ones on special occasions. Jill always had a way of coming up with new ideas and things for the family to do at gatherings, many of which became traditions. A celebration of life will be held at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 on Wednesday, May 19^th from 5 pm-7 pm.
