Jim Guy

Jim Guy, of Hilliard, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010. His best friend and wife of 28 years, Gail, and son, Josh, will miss him until they eventually meet up again in heaven. Jim also has many family and friends that loved him and will feel the loss of his humor, kindness, and wise words.
Jim graduated from Miami University in 1979 and from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1993. Jim was a staff attorney for the State of Ohio, Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Jim truly enjoyed his work and loved his work family. Jim had a deep love and appreciation of all music. He enjoyed writing songs and playing his guitars. Jim was honored to play with the church band and was looking forward to playing in heaven. Jim was also an avid baseball and football fan. A celebration of Jim’s life will be had at a memorial service on Saturday January 9th, 2010 at Life Community Church in Hilliard, Ohio at 11:00 A.M. Jim wanted people to dress casually and in bright colors. Jim also requested no neck ties. If a tie is worn, Jim asked that you leave it at the door. Jim requested that no flowers be sent, but wanted memorial donations to be given to Life Community Church.
