Jimmy Blair, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, July 30, 2007 at Doctor’s West Hospital. Member of Alder Chapel United Baptist Church. Retired from Bartlett Tree Co. after 25 years of service. Preceded in death by sons James and Joe Blair, parents Bosier and Myrtie Salyers Blair, brothers Thomas, Hebern, and Ellis Blair, sisters Christine Ziegler and Bernice May. Survived by loving wife of 56 years Loretta, children Linda (Dick) Thompson of Gahanna, Roger Blair and Cheryl Sammons of North Lewisburg, Pamela Blair Bayes of Columbus, and Terry (Kim) Blair of Copperston, WV, sister Tisha Hall of Huber Heights, 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday at the Alder Chapel United Baptist Church (Morgan Rd. West Jefferson) with Elder Charles Smith officiating. Interment Plumwood Cemetery.
