Jimmy Summers

Jimmy L. Summers, 67, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on January 22, 2021, in Dublin, Ohio, from a brief, brave battle with lung cancer.

He was born in Clarksville, TN, to Ernestine and Edward Summers.  He was an avid fan of football, especially the Buckeyes and the Volunteers.  A devoted son, father and brother, family was his mainstay.  The bass guitar inspired a passion, playing in several local bands.  He retired from Honda of America.

Jim is survived by his son, James and "adopted" daughter Celeste, and grandson, James, two brothers and their spouses, Don and Gina, Doy and Edie, nieces and nephews, Janie and Matt (spouse), Kadesh, great nieces and nephews, and extended family members.

He is preceded in death by both his parents.

Funeral services will be held January 28, 2021, at 10am at Tidd Funeral Home, Hilliard, Ohio.  Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Jim's love and spirit will remain in our hearts.
