Joan R. Hines

Joan R. Hines 88 of Grove City passed on Jan. 5, 2019. She was born on Jan. 6, 1930 in Mt. Sterling to Elwood and Ruth (Campbell) Rapp who preceded her in death, she was preceded by her husband of 46 years Delbert, brothers Harold and Kenneth. She is survived by 3 children Carol Hines, Dennis (Cheryl) Hines, David Hines, 2 grandchildren Jessica Hines and Melissa (Jay) Hines-Antico. She was a librarian with the South-Western City Schools and was a volunteer at Mt. Carmel West. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6PM Thursday Jan. 10, 2019 at the Porter Tidd Funeral Home 331 W. Main St Mt. Sterling, OH 43143 with a funeral service to follow at 6PM with the Rev. Jay Moyers officiating. Private burial will take place in Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mt. Carmel Hospital.
