Joann Blalock

Joann (Barker) Blalock, left to join her God on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Joann was born and went to school in Marysville, Ohio. From high school she went to The Ohio State University and Columbus Business school. She retired from Kal Kan Foods, Inc. in 1999 after 25 years or service. She was a charter member of Hilliard Presbyterian and served as a Deacon and Moderator for the Women’s Association. She is preceded in death by her husband James “Ed” Blalock, parents Mabel H. (Mahaffey) and Loy M. Barker, dear uncle Lynn L. Barker, and aunt Lone Boyland. Survived by sons Stephen L. Blalock and Jeffrey L. Blalock all of Central Ohio. In honoring Joann’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
