JoAnn Mann

JoAnn Mann, age 83, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017. JoAnn loved attending church, singing, shopping, going out to dinner and spending time with family. She was a longtime resident of Hilliard and attended First Baptist Church of Hilliard. JoAnn retired from the State of Ohio where she worked as a houseparent at the Ohio State School for the Deaf in Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by her parents Charles and Essie Washington and husband Estel Mann. Survived by children Deborah (Eric) Wright, Charles (Emily) Mann, Lori (George) Sontag and Starla (Greg) Mason, grandchildren Crystal (Dan Holton) Williams, Mindy (Curtis) Scott, Gareth (Lydia) Martin, Jared (Sarah) Mason, Kelly (Anny) McCoy, Amber (Brad) Bogenrife, Hilary (Johnny) Kosik, Kevin, Rebecca and Alexander Mann, 17 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Family will receive friends Saturday 9:30 am – 10:30 am at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 10:30 am with Pastor Bill Webb officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
