Joel Burleson

Joel Burleson, age 49, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Joel struggled with remaining drug free. He became an advocate and inspiration to all those who battle addictions. Preceded in death by father, Gene. Survived by his loving mother, Laura; daughter, Shelby; life companion, Karen Springer and their daughter, Brittany; step-daughter, Ciara; brothers, Gene (Mary) and Jeff (Therese) Burleson; twin sister, Susie (Bobby) Cole; grandchildren, Lonnie and Victoria; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Family will receive friends from 1-2PM Saturday at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43026 where a memorial service will be held a 2PM. Inurnment to take place at a later date at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
