John Ball

John M. (Mike) Ball, age 52, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Riverside Hospital, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Hilliard, attended Hilliard High School and was a self-employed sub-contractor. He loved muscle cars, going to car shows, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family and an avid Nascar fan. Preceded in death by his parents Carlis and Rosemary Ball and brother and best friend Chuck. Survived by loving wife of over 34 years Sheri; daughter Heather (Donnie) Glick; son Heath (Laura) Ball; grandchildren, Miranda, Hayden, and Hadley; sisters Beverly Montgomery, Kathy (Dan) Rose, Roseann (Sonny) Lemaster and Patti (Keel) Sprouse, sister-in-law Patty Ball, cousin Ella (Jim) Kirby, many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends. Family will receive friends 5-8 pm Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, January 14,2008 with Mary Evelyn Ruetty delivering the eulogy. Interment Alton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, OH 43215.
