John Edward Bartholomew Jr., age 76, of Galloway, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 with the love of his life Norma by his side. John was a 1958 graduate of Dublin High School and graduated from The Ohio State University in 1963 with a degree in Engineering. He retired as Director of Service Operations from Columbia Gas of Ohio in 1997 after 34 years of service. Preceded in death by parents John “Jack” and Beatrice (Gray) Bartholomew. Survived by children Sherry (Michael) Flara and Wayne (Kristin) Bartholomew, brothers David (Nancy) Bartholomew and Duane (Mary Ellen) Bartholomew, grandchildren Alex Bartholomew, Matthew (Natalie) Bartholomew, Kristen Bartholomew, Morgan Harper, Mallory (Jarrett) Hamm, Jacob Bartholomew, and Emily Bartholomew, great grandchildren Madison Bartholomew and Madeline Hamm, numerous loving relatives, nieces, nephews and special friends. A private family service will be held. Burial Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Road S.W., Lilburn, GA 30047.
