John Bird

John Bird, age 61, of Columbus, passed Tuesday, November 13, 2007. He was a graduate of Cedarville University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Member of Linworth Baptist Church. He was a Youth Pastor, Deacon and a Sunday School teacher at various churches throughout his life and also an AWANA Director. Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Freedom Bird. Survived by loving wife Bonnie Bird, son Jonathan (Leanna) Bird, siblings Linda (Ron) Butler, Thomas (Sandy) Bird, and Carol Bird and grandchildren Samuel, Arwen and Lucas. Friends may call 9-11 am Saturday at Linworth Baptist Church, 6200 Linworth Rd., Worthington, OH 43085, where funeral service will follow at 11 am Saturday with Pastor George Hattenfield officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Faith Mission of Columbus, 315 East Long St., Columbus, OH 43215. Please deliver all flowers to the church.
