John Hay

John C. Hay, age 78, of Hilliard, passed away on September 16, 2022. John was born June 12, 1944 in Columbus, OH. Graduate of Hilliard High School Class of ’62. Retiree of Columbus and Southern Electric/ AEP after 36 years of dedication. John began that employment as a janitor and worked his way to an Underground Supervisor.  John married his high school sweet heart, Judi, and was a dedicated husband of 60 years.  John had 3 sons who he taught them about the outdoors, how to make and fix about everything and how to be good men John was a loving grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  John was a skilled wood worker and spent a lot of his time in his wood shop building furniture and turning projects on his lathe.  In his spare time John loved to go fishing. John was preceded in death by his father Conard Hay and mother Anna Lee (Sparks) Hay.  John leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Judi K. Hay, his sons Glenn (Michelle) Hay, Brian (Lori) Hay and Craig (Becky) Hay. Along with 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  The family will receive friends at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard on Sunday, September 25 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM.
