John McIntyre

JOHN McINTYRE (“Johnny Mac”) age 64, went home to be with his beloved Lord and Saviour, peacefully in the presence of his loving wife of 30 years, Patti who he cherished and adored, and family on Saturday June 26^th at 4:31pm. Johnny was an avid golf lover (as reflected on his license plate LV4GOLF), lover of God and His Word, and spent his life making people laugh.  Johnny Mac was a 1974 Graduate of DeSales HS and a 1978 Graduate of Otterbein College where he earned a degree in accounting. Johnny Mac retired from Nationwide Insurance Co. after 30 years of service.

After retirement, Johnny continued his work for the Lord through his job at Home Depot as he witnessed to customers and co-workers alike which was reflected by the many co-workers text messages the family received upon knowledge of his accident. Johnny Mac’s daily prayer before entering Home Depot each morning was that he be used to be a light for The Lord to bring many to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Johnny Mac was predeceased by his parents John and Norma McIntyre. Johnny Mac is survived by his loving wife Patricia Gard McIntyre, children Ron Giuffre (Connie Anzuini) Deborah (Duane) Pool. Grandchildren Michelle (Michael) Maxson, Caitlyn Pool (Justin Edwards), Caylie (Ryan) Bell, Cassie (Joao) do Carmo, Colin Giuffre. Great Grandchildren Brayden and Dallen Maxson, Leo do Carmo. Godson Nathan Banaski. Cousins Marilyn and Laurie Bowman. Loving friends/family Scott, Tina, Michael (Chelsey), Nathan Banaski and Dave (Becky) Fontanarosa. Friend, Pastor, Mentor, brother in Christ Rick Nuzum.  Loved dearly by sister/brother-in-law Sandi and Cal Clason, and Cousin Darlene Wolf, his loving church family, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Grace Church of Powell.  Funeral arrangements made by the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Hilliard, Ohio.  Viewing hours to be held at Grace Powell Church, 7600 Liberty Road N, Powell, Ohio 43065, from 4-6pm, with the funeral service at 6:00pm, on Weds June 30, 2021. Private graveside service will be held at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, 3225 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026 on Thursday, July 1, 2021.  www.tiddfuneralservice.com
