John Steven Mirise

John Steven Mirise, age 64, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Kobacker House Hospice after a battle with lung cancer. Graduate of Whetstone High School and attended the Ohio State University. Former employee of Broadridge Financial Solutions. Member of St. Brendan Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Doris Mirise; nephew, Robert Terry. Survived by wife of 35 years, Susan (Carr) Mirise; daughters, Julia (Kevin) Day and Stephanie (Philip) Shiflet; grandson, Christian Maverick Shiflet; sisters, Sharon VanWinkle, Roberta Terry and Debra (Frederick) Kraus; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Ron) Buchanan and Cindy Carr; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Friends may call Monday, March 30, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with Catholic Prayer service from 7:45 to 8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, March 31, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd. in Hilliard. Father Bob Penhallurick presiding.
