Jonathon R. Williams

Jon Williams, age 21, of Hilliard, Ohio, died suddenly as the result of an automobile accident near Troy, Ohio on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Jon was a 2015 graduate of Hilliard Darby High School and was currently attending the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. He was an excellent swim teacher and lifeguard at the Hilliard YMCA for many years and currently worked at Logan’s Roadhouse in Troy. Jon is survived by the many members of his family who loved him so: his mother Kristen (Victor Erlanger) McFarland of Columbus, his father Matthew Williams of Lovell, ME, his brother Samuel Williams of Columbus, his step-mother Kristen E. Moseley of Columbus, grandparents: Winifred and Richard McFarland of Columbus, Ann Scott-Williams (Boyd Smith) of Lovell, ME, Roger C. (Jane) Williams of Lovell, ME, and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including his long-time girlfriend Makenna Burns of Hilliard, OH and her family. Family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00p.m. THURSDAY, JULY 12, 2018 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where a Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation and begin at 6:00p.m. THURSDAY.
