Joseph Craney

Joseph J. Craney, age 70, of Galloway, quietly passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on December 6, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph Craney and Madonna Boyd; lifetime companion, Janet Lewis; son, Keith Lewis; and grandson, Austin Lewis. Survived by brother, Richard (Norma) Craney; children, Tammy Rodenstine, Terry Lewis, Mike (Janet) Lewis, Gale (David) Steward, Tony (Katie) McBride, and Mary Green; grandchildren, Jason Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Christina (Tim) Hatfield, Christopher Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Rachel Lewis, Bailey Steward, Brandon Steward, Brealen McBride, and Breana McBride; great grandchildren, Titus Hatfield, Benaiah Hatfield, and Lydia Hatfield; along with other family and friends. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to everyone for their help and prayers during this difficult time, with a very special thank you to Melvin Garrison. Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard where a funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday with Rev. Lynn Pease officiating.
